GIFTED HANDS
This small, family owned Nepalese company creates eco-friendly, hand made goods and supports hundreds of families in this developing country. Created in partnership with Vevoke, their range of 100% wool felt goods are made by women co-operatives. We also support, with a donation from every sale, the Nepalese Children's Education Fund, a volunteer only non-profit, which funds the education of children from impoverished rural communities. Gifted Hands also hand make a unique range of wrapping paper and gift bags. Workers from small village communities harvest the bark of the lokta plant, convert it to paper pulp, then dry and dye it using local vegetable inks. Lokta paper has a texture and visual beauty unlike any other paper.
